Learn to drive in Stourbridge

Lots of people learn to drive in Stourbridge, not least because of the high density of student population attending Stourbridge College BMet and King Edward VI College.  It's a familiar sight to those driving around Stourbridge ring road, to see Driving Instructors cars queuing to collect their next pupil on the slip road outside King Edwards. Chris is able to schedule lessons to fit around college i.e. dropping off or collecting from college or working around free periods.

Chris is a fully qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) based in Stourbridge and has been teaching learner drivers within the area since 2010, you may have seen him around in his smart red Citigo car with Chris Morse Driving Instructor written on each side.  When you meet Chris you’ll find him to be highly professional and extremely patient as well as friendly and approachable.

Chris is well known locally for being able to very quickly tune into each individuals learning preference and adjust his teaching to suit, which results in very fast and efficient learning, easily improving on the national average for training hours required to take the driving test.

Stourbridge is a great place to develop your driving skills because of the wide range of road conditions, from simple quiet roads to get started without the worry of too many other motorist, to much more complex areas like the old quarter where tight situations abound and of course the dreaded ring road.  Chris’ extensive knowledge of the local area means that lessons can be kept local without having to waste valuable time driving from one area to another,  which means you get more time developing your car control skills during every driving lesson.

Those that learn to drive in Stourbridge have a choice of driving test centres for their practical test, however, Chris generally suggests using the Lower Gornal Driving Test Centre for a number of reasons including the fact that the examiners are pleasant and do their best to put candidates at ease and also that Chris has built up a supreme knowledge of the 18 test routes used around Lower Gornal.

It’s important to understand that learning to drive is not just about passing a driving test but more about feeling confident and competent to drive safely on your own, you’ll be surprised at how quickly you progress and how driving a car is both relaxing and enjoyable.
